Suicide with a Butter Knife?
Ok last night at the Bar could have been considered cruel and un-usual torcher. Don't get me wrong I love the place. But, (and yes that is a big but) when ever you have a stage, there is a chance that what is produced on sed stage my not be that enjoyable. Can we all guess what my feelings are on last night show?
I happened to work Hip-Hop night, and where I find the learecks and play on words found in some Hip-Hop a sing of grate intelligents. I can't stand the music that it is normally put to. I find the heavy base beet distracting and the scratching of the record can at some times be like nails on a chock board (yes everyone shudder at the thought of it). And to add insult to injury, I have a felling that the 4 guys that where performing may not have been that good. There where a lot of customers that would walk in order a drink, did not finish it and then leave, remind you this was after paying a cover to get in. And from my time there I can say that when someone payees a cover to get into a place they want there moneys worth. They don't leave!!! They will stay and bitch about how bad the show is, and about how they had to pay to see a bad show before they will leave, and buy doing so they must feel that they got there moneys worth (they will also take care to let the bar tender know how they feel in the hops of getting a free drink)(Oh, and buy the way this doesn’t work). But no they just left. Most of them did not even finish there drinks, they just got up and left.
Now I don't know if you where willing to go out on a limb the way I may be some times. But in the case you where wondering and not wanting to jump to conclusions the answer is NO!!!! No I do not like Hip-Hop (sorry to all those fans of mine that have just deleted there links to my blog), but as I said before there are just parts of it that don’t mix well with me. But I put on my happy face and made nice with everyone that came my way. What I really don’t understand and maybe some one can help me with this is why 1/2 of the customers had the need to walk over to me order a drink and then wanted me to critique there rapping? What the hell is that all about? Don't they understand that I work there, that I'm paid to be there, that I might not have come for the show? And to top it all off the sound guy that was working did not get rapped at all that I could see. At least he has something to do when the show. I just serve the booze, my job to make shore that the customers that don’t like what they here may not realize how bad a time they are having... So why in gods green earth are you rapping at me??? And where I do my best in life not to judged a book by it's cover I just don’t look like the type that is in to Rap, ask anyone that know me they will tell you that I’m right.
Well anyway to rap this up (hehehe I maid a funny) I was walking around the entire night, mumbling under my breath (of course), "I will not commit suicide with a butter knife, I will not commit suicide with a butter knife..
