Over The Bridge And Through The Woods

Well if you count NYC the woods… This weekend I went to Z’s bridal shower (oh and speaking of showers we where lucky to get home!) The first of many big gatherings that will be surrounding her for some time to come… The food was good. The dessert was better (as it always is)! And it was a lot of fun!!! With toilet paper brides and pins to steal from other guests. We all had a blast... Z’s role was the same as any bride, and roomies role is that if the wedding party (shared with 4 others of course)! My role well it seams that I’m the paparazzi and the go get it girl… I was either taking pictures or getting something. Well let just say that I was busy… But I enjoyed myself. Z says that she had a grate time and that is what really matters…

And now to put my feet up, they are killing me.

First Night...

Ok my first night at the new job was interesting... There are more things to remember then you can count and that is not good because I have the memory of a gold fish!!!! Lets see:

If you are working you can't drink. Not a problem.
You can get 2 drinks 1/2 price if you are not working.
At the end of your shift 2 free drinks.
They sell at least 25 different types of bottled beer.
Three different prices for bottled beer.
Three prices for tap beer.Three prices for boos.
All the prices for food.
The million of people that work there.
You can comp drinks if you know the persons name.

Other then that is was not bad... Started off the night with a movie. It was a progressive film that felt the need to talk about the down fall of society, and do nothing to stop it. We are going to talk about how scary religious groups are brain washing there kids, putting them in to law school, and try to have them run for office. At one point there was an interview in the move that said that if Harry Potter lived in early biblical times that he would be put to death. Well lets see HE IS A CARATER IN A BOOK, oh and it is not EARLY BIBICAL TIMES. Then it was time to talk about the movie, and all agree that we can do nothing to stop it... They think that they are helping the world by learning about these things but then role over and give up... What the hell is that about??? They should just stay home and smoke pot!!!!! The only thing that is more of a waste of not knowing anything is knowing something is wrong (what ever that is for you) and then not doing any thing about it!!! I mean come on!!!! The movie said the name of the school that they send them too, the name of the town that it is in, and the name of the religious group. Lets see if you see some in your town running for office that went there make it known!!! Wright your congers man/woman... Tell your priest that you are up set about this... Or don't vote for them... But no!!! I herd someone say 'But we can do nothing to stop it'. What the fuck is that???

After the movie and the group give-up it was open mike night. Not bad in all. The people playing could use some help. And it was really fucking slow!!!! Think that I could have done my nails between drinks... The board of health may have something to say about that. But I was told that I was a good bar tender and they want me to come back... So for now we will stay... But I’m having a felling that it will not pay the bills and it is only 2 nights a week to start. But more hours will be coming... As a few are planed to leave... We will see how much money I take home when I learn where all the bottles are...

And here is to the new job...

Tonight is the Night!!!

Well I set a goal and lived up to it...

Tonight is my first day of work... I got a bartending job at a little small "Mini Club" as the owner put it. It is a small little place, with the smallest stage that I have ever seen, the walls are purple, and there is art all over the place. Pitcher an Acid trip and dinner theater then smash them together. It seams like the perfect place to work!!! My new Boss is a Hippy that is now all grown up, and did not make the transition to Yippy. He wanted to make shore that I liked the "Vibe" of the place before he would give me the job. The bar is small but looks like it can pack a crowd around it. Tonight is open mike night and it is there slowest night of the weak, so training will start. Well we will see what happens.

Just hope that it will pay the bills..

And it starts

The hell of trying to put together a résumé is under way and is as far as I can get it... Who decided that this was the way we should be able to get a job!!!! I mean come on! We look down on people that do not have a job, but we make it impossible for those of us that are not that grate at spelling, typing, and remembering dates in general... Spell check only works if you can read, and grammar only comes if you learned to spell in the first place.... And the dates, Oh the dates, they are nightmare for anyone. Needing to look good on paper is only surface deep, and a bad way to judge your pool of canidents. Look at me I'm going to have someone look over it and fix all my mistakes, but that person will not be there when I fuck up on the job!!!!!

Getting back into the swing of things....

Well it has been a long time since I have posted (A very long time)!!!! There has been so much that has happened, and to much to get into dental about.... The short story is:

1. Got a new Job! (Yay I was happy)
   
2. Lost the new Job! (Not happy, but relived)
   
3. Still unemployed! (Broke)
   

So it is time to fall back on my Bartending experience and bring home the doe!!!! I Went back to the bartending school that I studied at the first time,(they give free refresher courses to there graduates). There link will be posted in the event that you want to know more.

And the Job Search Begins....
