Stop and Go!!!!

Traffic!!!

How did we get so much of it?? Where did it all come from??? We can think up small robots to vacuum/wash the floors of our house. We don't need a VCR to tape our favorite shows, we now have cable boxes that can do it for us, and they are so easy to use!!! My 90 year old Grandmother can do it! She was not able to use a VCR!!! ATMs let us get to our money 24 hours a day, and Direct Deposit lets us put money into the account with out going to the bank. The tellers at my bank have no idea who I am or what I look like. I could be green and have antennas out of my head!!! They would have no idea that I was related to ET. We have all these things to make our lives easer, and to save us time... But then tell me, why I'm I spending all my extra time in my car on the highway, not going any where??? Is it just me or are things not as productive as we make it out to be?

I can spend an easy 2-3 hours of my day sitting in the car wishing that the person in front of me could just GO!!!! But they can't because the person in front of them can’t Go... And the person in from of them guess what they cant do?? Yes that is right, THEY CAN’T GO!!! This carries on for miles!!!! Just so you can see a glimpse of my commute. If I start on the road at 6:30am (yes I said AM!) there will be traffic on the highway. It is not so bad that I will start yelling at other people in there cars but it is dame inconvenient. If I happen to work late lets say 6:00pm I Still Hit Traffic!!! That is like 12 hours of traffic, and at this time it’s BAD... and I do yell at the cars around me... So tell me why the DOT in my area can’t do something about it. I say they should hire some people that belong to Mensa and give them the task of making my commute easer... Just call them up and say 'Hay Mensa would you like to try to salve a problem that no one in the USA can seam to fix?’ I bet they would say. ‘Ya shore we are smart we will give it a try’. But no, this is not the case.

The reality of it is that I will to grow old in my car, and the best moments of my life are baking on the asphalt that I call my commute.

(Disclaimer: There was no Road Rage created in the making of this post!)
